public_speakingA passionate and engaging speaker, Mica shares her own experiences with pain, loss and adversity to encourage other women to tap into their inner strength to cope and begin again.  Mica motivates women to discover and channel their inner “Superheroes” to grow, navigate change and overcome fear and paralysis.

Like many women, Mica has transcended a divorce, a re-entry into the workforce as a single mom, and served as a primary caregiver to her husband Bob whom she lost to pancreatic cancer.  A sexual assault survivor, she believes women can become stronger and thrive, not just survive, when in crisis.  Through her faith, she encourages others to bend not break when the going gets tough.

A believer in stretching horizons and stepping outside comfort zones, Mica has fulfilled one of the dreams on her bucket list.  She is training to race professional race cars around a professional track on non compete days. Previously afraid of high speeds, Mica never dreamed she would race a ruby red Ferrari around the Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, traveling over 159 mph.

“I was paralyzed after my divorce, but I started a new career that was on my wish list,” she says.  “After my husband died, I had to drag myself out of bed in the morning.  Suddenly alone, I was way out of my comfort zone.  I prayed for the pain to stop. Finally I realized that God can’t steer a parked car, so I decided to do something I was scared to do. I steered my car toward a goal that was worthy of a Super Hero. In so doing, I developed self reliance and confidence to begin again with a bold new life. It’s never too late. Become a new more confident you and master of your universe and learn to stop saying, ‘I can’t’.”

“Mica Mosbacher is an extremely well informed, engaging, and inspiring speaker. She recently addressed a group of Rice University students at Martel college about ethnic tolerance, controlling bullying and abuse, and the role of perseverance in success. Mica is incredibly personable and she forms a special connection with her audience. Our students found her inspiring.”
