In late 2013, Mica was appointed by Her Majesty the Queen to the Order of St. John, an international centuries-old organization dedicated to improving the human condition.
The Priory in the USA is the official branch of the Order of St. John in the United States.
The Order of St. John is an order of chivalry and a major international humanitarian charity accredited to the United Nations, the branches of which provide health care and first responder services in over 40 nations around the world.
Since 1960, The Priory in the USA has worked to actively support the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital which operates as the only charitable provider of eye care in Palestine and the West Bank.
